What a joy and blessing God has had for us on this trip. To think it hasn't even been three weeks here in Guatemala, but God has already done amazing through us and through those around us who have touched our hearts. I don't always seek God. The times when I am seeking Him, aren't always times when I am really seeking Him. Wisdom, healing, providence, comfort, direction, security, rest, joy; these are all things I have sought, believing I was actually seeking after God while doing so. Days ago, immersed in worship, singing with all I had "How He Loves", I felt an overwhelming sense of contentment come over me. Singing, my voice cracks, horribly, and moments later, I am in tears, and at this point, I am in the most real conversation with God I know that I have had in a long time....

Guatemala is unexplainable. God is moving. People are growing. Lives are being changed. Eyes are being opened. God is showing me that there is no stopping point in my growth. There have been many low key mornings here in Guatemala before we go out and do afternoon ministry.  There was one morning our leaders asked us to spend 3 hours with the Lord before lunch.  I spent my time, praying over the different ministries my team is involved in.  I busted out my ipod and put on some good ol' worship music to the one and only JC.  My prayers for the ministries were the song lyrics of different songs.   The song God of this City by Chris Tomlin was my prayer for the people of Puerto Barrios.  There were many other songs I came...
