Guatebella! (:

The drive to Puerto Barrios from Guatemala City was pretty amazing and interesting. There were mountain ranges the entire way and it was so beautiful! It was a great time of laughter and practicing our Spanish with Melvin and Christian (our talented drivers). The drive was literally about 9 hours long even though were told it was only 5 hrs long… haha. About halfway through we blew a tire and it was pretty terrifying but Central/South Americans are pretty great extreme drivers and we stopped safely. Expect to see some blogs rolling out in the next few days as they find internet. Thanks for all the prayers for this team! The Passport field support team

You Are All We Need

Today is the final day of training camp.  Everything ha sprogressed so much since that first slightly awkward team dinner.  Everyone on my team agrees that it feels like we have been here for over a week. We have been learning a ton of different things about worship, freedom, listening, and how not to hate each other for the next 2 months.  Most of our team walked to a sweet waterfall here at Toccoa Falls college this afternoon and had some great bonding time. Our leader Grayson slid down a rock into a hole in the waterfall pool, which was pretty funny. We are leaving...

training camp sayy whaattt??

Picture this. 200 college aged students in Atlanta Georgia for a training camp, preparing us for missions all over the world. What comes to mind? Nazi "holier than thou"snobs telling you how much of a sinner you are. Maybe a hippie like love fest. These were only a few of the ideas scrollig through my mind. When we arrived one of the first things we did was worship. So all 200 of us piled into the sanctuary. Not knowing what to expect. As we stood up to worship one of the speakers for our camp told us how Adventures in Missions encourages us to worship. All he said was FREELY. If...

First Stop Training Camp

Hello there (: So I'm in training camp and I'm not gonna lie it was pretty crazy and exhausting! It was well worth it though! I learned alot not only about myself but others. I learned that everyone is the same thru Gods eyes and we are all Gods children no matter where we are. Just because we will be in a different country much different from ours the people their still have feeling and cultures we must respect and obey. Training camp was an eye opener I believe not only for me but all of us. As a team we definately all bonded and got comfortable with each other really quickly and...
