We are never to young to serve. Those words went through my mind as I was packing my bags to go to Guatemala. After three days of training it is clear how evident and true these words are. The way of expression and of praise for the God is so heart warming, that tears of joy can easily be seen and felt. People are shouting, singing, and roaring with assurance that God will take care of them. All shackles and chains that try to hold us back are easily broken. You know that spiritual high you get at church camp? The one that sticks around for a few weeks then you’re left with nothing but a countdown until next summer. Training camp is nothing like that. We all arrived after a day of goodbyes, airports, and a long, sweaty, 2 hour, 3 bottoms in a seat bus ride. Prior to arriving at training camp, I honestly did not prepare much for this 2-month endeavor.  I was so overwhelmed with other things, preparation fell to the bottom of my list.
