Compassion

´´May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.´´  Romans 15:13 Everyday here in Panajachel has been filled with so much joy and peace.  I am constantly learning new things about Gods character, but for the past few days it has been compassion.  At the beginning of the week I was drawn to John 11 where Jesus is comforting Martha and Mary for the loss of their brother.  When Jesus saw how deeply saddened they were, he was deeply moved and he...

Broken

Adios America

Rachel Short here, checking in from the humble abode. Work in progress

The Lord is doing awesome work within our team! Our weeks are basically set with a schedule right now but starting next week we are about to start doing more outreach and be able to pour God into people’s lives. As of right now we have been working with Pastor Ben on two projects, building a retaining wall for a family whose house gets bombarded with mud from landslides, and also completing a well at Pastor Ben’s house was just now completed after 3 years of being worked on. The wall should be done sometime this week as well. Pictures of working at the wall Alaina, Nic, and...
