Send Me….I’ll Go!

For months I have been praying that my faith in Christ would be like that of a child and that God would be revealed to me daily in Panajachel.  Within 5 days of being here, God has gone far beyond answering those simple prayers.  Here, the simplicity of my faith and understanding of God's love is much greater than I could have ever asked for.  To me, this city brings life.  A joy and abundant amount of satisfaction than any other place.  With its colorful beauty and rich culture, it is almost like I've stepped into a dream.  I no longer need to be...

Everything

Woofta is about the only word running through my head right now!  Yesterday, my team, the Global Challenge crew, and people from Mi Reto, hosted a camping trip for the children of the church and children of a small village.  We rode up the mountain in the back of a pickup, packing 13 people in the small truck bed.  We arrived at 8 in the morning and played with the children until 10 at night!  We had a great time loving on the children, talking with their parents, and sharing the Gospel.  Some of my teammates and I met a woman named Estella, and she...

Home Visits

Before arriving here we were cautioned that this place is heavily soaked in spiritual warfare. We have spent much time in prayer and interceding that the peoples hearts soften and are open to the movement of the spirit. What if His people prayed?

What if His people prayed?   What if the armies of the Lord Picked up and dusted off their swords vowed to set the captive free and not let Satan have one more   What if the church for heaven’s sake Finally stepped up to the plate Took a stand upon God’s promise and stormed Hell’s rusty gates     This song by Casting Crowns has been on my mind since we arrived in Guatemala on Wednesday. Our team is praying.   We are praying for HUGE things! We are boldly proclaiming that God is going to move and take down strong holds in Guatemala.   And God...

Starting Fires

Family is a word that is normally limited to relation by blood or people who have been in your life for many years.  Family wouldn't normally describe a group of peers that you have only knonw three days.  Relationships are developed and strengthened because we all have Christ in common. As a team we have already created so many memories together and we haven't even left the country.  Crazy Amazing things can happen when Christ is invloved.  Our second night at camp during team time we wanted to have a bonfire.  At our nighttime session we were told that...

The Nations Are Waiting

Am I adequate?  Am I strong enough?  Am I ready for this?   These were the questions that kept flooding my thoughts as all 190 college students traveling to 11 different countries loaded up on yellow school buses and set out on the long journey to the Training Launch-off Camp in Tennessee. I was truly prepared for the unexpected when, along with the heat of the summer and exhaustion of travel, it was announced that we would be sleeping outside with nothing but our sleeping bags.  As my team of 16 began setting up camp for the night, thoughts of doubt hit me hard once...
